The Itzehoer Störlauf is one of the largest running events in Schleswig-Holstein and has been held annually on a Saturday in May since 2000. Thousands of runners and walkers of all ages start in the immediate vicinity of Cirencester Park at the Great Paaschburg and run along the Stör on various routes. The finish line is in Cirencester Park.
The Störlauf starts with a 400 m lap around Cirencester Park for the youngest participants who are not yet of school age. One competition after another will then start until around 6 p.m., including two 2 km races, the 5 km and 10 km races measured according to DLV guidelines and the half marathon. Walkers start over 5 km or 10 km, depending on registration.
Registration for the Itzehoer Störlauf is always possible from February/March and takes place online at www.stoerlauf.de. Here you can also find the exact start times, all information and contacts for questions about the Itzehoer Störlauf.
