The Itzehoe Concert Choir and the Wandsbek Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Wolf Tobias Müller, together with the renowned choirs Strzyżowski Chór Kameralny (Chamber Choir) and Podkarpacki Chór Męski (Male Choir) under the direction of their conductor Grzegorz Oliwa from Rzeszów and Strzyzów (Carpathian Foothills) are organizing a sacred concert in the St. Laurenii Church, Itzehoe, as part of a German-Polish cultural exchange on 03.05.2025.
With the mass “Missa pro Pace” by Feliks Nowowiejski, the overture to the oratorio “Paulus” and the sacred work “Verelih uns Frieden” by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy as well as a cappella performances by the choirs, a musical call for peace will be sent out.
