Angling or sport fishing is the practice of fishing with one or more hand-held rods. In the simplest case, the fishing rod consists only of fishing line and fishing hook, but generally still consists of the fishing rod, fishing reel for reeling the line and the so-called leader, a line between the main line and the hook, which is usually thinner than the main line. Swivels are used as a link between the main line and the leader in most fishing methods. A person who practices the sport of fishing is called an angler.
