In 2025, the traditional Itzehoer Woche will once again be on the program of events in the Stör city. Below we give you a brief overview of the events taking place and their particular highlights. As in the past two years, the series of events is once again largely supported by the Sparkasse Westholstein as the main sponsor.
Wine festival – Saturday, May 24, from 4 p.m.
This year’s Itzehoer Woche will once again kick off with the wine festival. Thousands of people flock to Itzehoe on this day to enjoy the wine on offer and various delicacies in the city center while listening to live music on several stages.
Weekly market square, Sparkasse stage
16.00 hrs – Wine festival opening with the “Itzehoer Störschippern”
The “Itzehoer Störschipper” shanty choir provides the musical backdrop for the speeches, which begin at 4.30 p.m. on the main stage.
17.15 – 18.30 – MENSE Music
Mense lives his dream of being a musician with passion, guitar and lots of road trip spirit – whether solo or with his band Mense & The Blackbirds. Over 120 concerts a year, his own songs and real classics, recorded in his own analog studio and presented with pure passion: Mense stands for handmade rock’n roll and real entertainment!

19.30 – 20.30 – Michél von Wussow
Radically honest, profound and full of musical power: On his second album “Traum B”, Hamburg songwriter Michél von Wussow deals with personal traumas, social issues and glimmers of hope in the midst of darkness. With an unmistakable voice, powerful indie sound and lyrical clarity, he tells stories that touch – raw, direct and yet full of love.

21.30 – 23.30 – Tin Lizzy
Thrilling, versatile and absolutely experienced on stage: TIN LIZZY is one of the most successful cover bands in the north of Germany and delights audiences throughout Germany with a mix of current chart hits, rock and pop classics and real party hits. Perfectly rehearsed and close to the audience, the band creates an exuberant atmosphere – every time anew!

16.45 – 19.00 – DJ Bassol – relaxed & danceable
DJ Bassol opens the Disco Stage with groovy house beats and invites you to enjoy the afternoon with a chilled atmosphere and cold drinks.
19.00 – 23.30 – Electronic Evolution – Dance The Night Away Pt. 2
With the unforgettable vibe of last year behind us, we’ll be partying to the best electronic sounds again this time. From the 90s to the latest club tracks.
Kirchenstraße, “Haus der Jugend”stage
17.15 – 17.45 – LVS
At just 19 years old, the young hip-hop artist from Glückstadt brings a mixture of deep lyrics, catchy pop vibes and lots of positive energy to the stage. His songs are sometimes thoughtful, sometimes laid-back – but always with heart and guaranteed catchy tunes.
18.00 – 18.45 – Blame
Blame provides an unforgettable experience for all alternative rock fans and brings the stage to life with an energetic performance.
19.00 – 19.30 – Babo Heck & Galaxy Boy
When these two newcomers join forces, the atmosphere is guaranteed! Babo Heck impresses with profound storytelling, cross-genre sounds and driving beats – ideal for a party-loving audience. Galaxy Boy creates the perfect live atmosphere with melodic rap, honest lyrics and catchy melodies. Together on stage, they are a well-rehearsed duo who know how to pick up the crowd.

19.45 – 20.30 – Rossoli & UNX
The six young artists already performed on the Weinfest stage last year and will once again deliver a show full of power, beats and surprises this year with a mix of hip-hop, dancehall and rock.
21.00 – 21.45 – BraZing Bull
The five-piece band from Itzehoe brings back the sound of the 90s and 2000s – with driving riffs, gripping grooves and powerful vocals, combined with modern samples. BraZing Bull delivers an explosive show that perfectly combines nostalgia and a fresh sound – a must for all nu-metal fans!
22.15 – 23.00 – Celebrate the Bloodshed
Celebrate The Bloodshed combine a brutal sound – best categorized as “Blackened Deathcore” -, dark staging and uncompromising energy to create a show that is more ritual than concert – bloody, dark, merciless.

17.00 – 23.00 – Musical-culinary wine festival corner
In the musical-culinary wine festival corner, visitors will once again be offered a colorful music program with selected wines and delicacies, seating in a lovingly decorated location invites you to linger and promises an entertaining evening. This year’s program includes the Lägerdorf fire department band, the Wewelsfleth brass band, the Oldendorf band and the Stör Steel Drums of the Itzeho youth marching band.

12.00 – 18.00 – Wind & values – The Prokon market
Prokon celebrates its anniversary – celebrate with us!
30 years of Prokon, 10 years of the cooperative – we are celebrating this with “Wind & Values – the Prokon Market” on May 24 at the Itzehoer Woche! An exciting program with live music, food trucks, specialist presentations, a technology tent, children’s activities and much more awaits you from 12 noon to 6 pm. In addition to the Prokon stands, companies and associations from the areas of sustainability and regional products will also be presenting themselves. The anniversary reception with invited guests will be broadcast live on the market from 11 am. Tip: The big wine festival starts at 4 pm. Come along and celebrate with us! 5.00 pm – Mace Sharp & The Halebops
Weinhaus Pfingsten spoils its guests with delicious wines and from 6.30 pm Mace Sharp & The Halebops delight with their unique music mix of rock’n’roll, rockabilly, boogie, blues and swing.
Cläre-Schmidt-Senioren-Centrum, Beethovenstraße 1
From 18.00 hrs – Cläres wine festival
The event is organized by the Cläre-Schmidt-Senioren-Centrum [CSSC] of the DRK-Schwesternschaft Ostpreußen e. V. and the Klosterforst residential park. The wine festival will be opened by the assistant to Matron Lohmeier, Mrs. Kluge, the mayor Ralf Hoppe and the mayor Dr. Markus Müller. DJ Tony Tornado will provide the background music and there will also be culinary delicacies and wine from Weinhorizonte Itzehoe in a beautiful setting in and around the marquee.

Eldorado for bargain hunters
A real paradise awaits flea market lovers on around five kilometers through Itzehoe’s city centre: More than 500 stalls invite you to take a relaxed stroll and rummage for small and large treasures. So don’t miss out – those who come early will find the best bargains!
There are still a few places left – it pays to be quick! The cost for private stand operators is 25.00 euros per 3 meter stand.
Another important note: On the day of the flea market the streets in the areas Berliner Platz – Breite Straße – Breitenburger Straße – Kirchenstraße – Poststraße – Sandberg – Untere/Obere Feldschmiede – La Couronne Platz, are closed to vehicles. closed to vehicles.
Big children’s day & plant market

Free fun and games
When the Malzmüllerwiesen meadows are transformed into a huge adventure playground, it’s that time again: the region’s biggest children’s day is coming up and delights visitors of all ages year after year. Games, fun and exciting activities await the whole family at numerous hands-on stations. A colorful supporting program with many highlights and surprises ensures the best entertainment and shining children’s eyes all day long!
Our clubs, institutions and companies provide around 60 free fun and games activities for children of all ages: Bungee trampolines, a toboggan run, power paddlers, bouncy castles, a climbing garden and soccer darts provide plenty of action. There will also be a fun games course, a teddy clinic run by Itzehoe Hospital, face painting, the water bar at the Itzehoe public utility company’s QuizzBuzz, various painting and craft activities and many other offers. In addition, athletes with disabilities compete in a banana flank league soccer tournament, supported by Round Table 43 Itzehoe. The Itzehoe Sports Club will also be there again with various sports to try out.
On the Children’s Day stage, DJ Sascha Finke will provide a wealth of music to keep the kids entertained. You can also expect live acts from the SCI, the Eagles Fighters, the Giesen dance school and the Kremper Fahnenschwenkern.
This year’s Children’s Day will once again be accompanied by “Itzehoe blossoms and hums”. The joint plant market organized by the Itzehoe Beekeepers’ Association and the Eggert Nursery will once again be held on the Malzmüllerwiesen and offers the opportunity to buy perennials and shrubs that provide nectar and pollen for bees, bumblebees and other endangered insects. There are also lots of interesting things to discover about beekeeping around the bee mobile.

Steinburg evening market
Thursday, June 05, from 4:30 p.m.
Unique flair at the foot of St. Laurentii
The “Steinburg Evening Market” marks the end of this year’s “Itzehoer Woche”. With fresh fish and cheese, handmade pearl jewelry, delicious cocktails and coffee, as well as handmade ice cream, it presents our region from its most beautiful side. Under the motto “It’z Rock’n Roll!”, the restaurants “himmel+erde” and “Antikcafé La Donna” will be cooking up some tasty treats in their joint cooking tent. The matching wines will be tasted by Weinhaus Pfingsten and the Itzehoe city management.
The evening will be accompanied by music from MENSE Music and Rossi & Offel on the stage in Kirchenstraße.
