Kirche St. Anschar Münsterdorf

Kirchenstraße 1
25587 Münsterdorf

St. Anschar is a new neo-Gothic church built in 1871. From the previous church of 1601, besides the baptismal font, two other remarkable objects were taken over: the communion chalice, which was donated to the parish during the 30-year war, and the Rantzaut panels from 1596.

Also worth seeing are the patronage pews and the altarpiece by Rudolf Nonnenkamp. You can see the Kalandsgeschirr of the church district Münsterdorf in the Prinzesshofmuseum Itzehoe.
