The museum displays historical objects from over 100 years of industrial pharmaceutical production on an area of 250 square meters. Special attention is paid to the company history of Pohl-Boskamp, which celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2010, making it one of the oldest pharmaceutical companies in Germany. The smallest object is the desmoid pill, only a few millimeters in size, a specialty of Pohl-Boskamp for the detection of gastric acid, which was produced by hand until 1993. The largest is the first fully automatic machine for seamless soft gelatin capsules, the Globex.

All pieces are shown in their historical context – so there are reconstructions of different work areas from production, bottling as well as administration. In addition, there are also places to participate and a cinema with historical footage. The special feature is the glass visitor corridor leading from the museum, which provides an insight into today’s production at Pohl-Boskamp.
