Haus der Jugend Itzehoe

Since the end of April 2018, Itzehoe’s youth has a real home again. At the corner of Grunerstrasse and Adolf-Rohde-Strasse, opposite the paddling pool, a wonderfully clearly structured new building rises up with over 1000 square meters. The house and all offers are open, everyone can come and go as he/she pleases. Of course, you can also relax and unwind here.

Thanks to the quite good equipment, there are many possibilities to participate and try out here. Be it with new media (film production, graphic design, sound editing), in the craft sector (bicycle workshop, furniture construction, cooking, etc.) or in the field of event management (concerts, discos, theater), to list just a few possibilities. Further ideas and suggestions from the children and young people will be gladly considered. In addition to the open design, however, there are also concrete educational offers that are also openly designed but take place reliably and regularly.
