Pavillon Amönenhöhe Oelixdorf
(c) Wolfgang Lenhardt
Amönenhöhe is a hill on the Störschleife, surrounded by stately forest. The wife of the late Count Friedrich von Rantzau loved this place; Itzehoer society also enjoyed the fantastic view over Breitenburg, Münsterdorf and the Stör.
The half-timbered and thatched pavilion on Amönenhöhe dates back to the last third of the 18th century and is a listed building.
