After graduating from high school, traineeship at a German/English news agency in the former Bonn government district, then editor at "Deutsche Welle radio & tv" in Cologne, after moving to Schleswig-Holstein in 1995, first as a conceptioner and copywriter, later as creative director of a private advertising agency, founding of her own agency together with a partner from the field of graphics, "TARA Kommunikation & Design" was with 12 employees one of the largest and most successful agencies on the west coast, customers were among others.INEFA, BAYER Brb, ALDRA, Winter Umwelttechnik, NORDIA. The Itzehoer customer "Plate & Partner" wanted to establish its own large marketing department in the course of the company foundations "conTakt", "Exact", Hotel Mercure etc. and recruited me as marketing manager. Many major projects followed - including the "BonusCard Schleswig-Holstein", the Norderstedt concept "wilhelm tel", the magazine "Einblick", the IT innovation "iCall", for which I provided intensive conceptual and advertising support for many years. After pregnancy, a short parental leave and an additional education in psychology, I later worked part-time for the Elmshorn organization "Wendepunkt", responsible for communication and project development and as a member of the management.
