Kristin Grothe (*1972) creates graphic works that mostly show places and spaces that seem unreal and strangely familiar to us at the same time. The artist deals with architecture and landscape as well as with the relationship between nature and man, using the traditional technique of printmaking in a very unique way. She understands architecture as a legacy of man – places that nature reclaims.
The Wenzel Hablik Museum is now dedicating its own exhibition to the artist, who lives in Neumünster, and is showing a selection of works from the last 20 years.
