Double exhibition by Till Warwas and Lars Möller
With Till Warwas and Lars Möller, two North German realists are coming to the gallery. Both are masters of nature and cityscape painting. Till Warwas‘ strengths are poetic still lifes, composed with a passion for light and their traces on tropical fruits or various vessels. Lars Möller’ s seascapes radiate a special magic. The trademark of his paintings is the smearing of paint on the side edges of the canvas. In this way, the painter breaks up the clearly defined boundaries of the picture and brings movement into the experience of his painting. The water mirror captured in the moment seems to flow outwards.
The exhibition will open on Sat., May 22, 2025, at 5 pm. Both artists will be presented in an interview, which will then appear as episode #24 on Kultur und Wort, the art podcast from the north.
